After a civil ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, and a colorful wedding in India, Beth and Udai were finally able to bring their families together for a California wedding celebration at the Berkeley City Club. Designed by architect Julia Morgan and built in 1929, this Moorish- and Gothic-style venue was the perfect match for a couple that loves unique details. There were candies, cupcakes, cosmopolitans and peacock feathers. Since Beth is studying to be a librarian, we took full advantage of the City Club’s antique library for our photoshoot. The party continued in the magnificent reception hall. Congratulations, Beth and Udai!

Looking at the pictures, recalled “…dance me to the end of Love!…” Great collection!

  2. [...] One thing that isn’t prominently featured on the venue’s website, but which I really appreciated (from the outside, of course) is the Ladies’ Powder Room. With it’s large mirror and old-world comforts, this is one of the most unique bridal preparation rooms in the Bay Area. A great place to get ready for your Berkeley City Club wedding. [...]
