I can’t say enough about the elegance, beauty, and tradition that defined this wedding. The setting, Seascape Resort in Santa Cruz, was warm, serene and perfect. The guests were joyous, the food was delicious, and the energy of the wedding party was unmatched. Then, of course, there was the spectacle of the dragon and the Kung Fu masters, and the sunset promenade on the beach to top it all off. Thank you Fontaine & Sam! What a beautiful day!!

I spent a beautiful afternoon at San Francisco City Hall with Kristen, Derk and their families. Inside, we explored light, texture, and all of the different tableaus that City Hall offers up on a busy weekday. When we stepped outside to play in front of the building, it was obvious that autumn was upon us. The leaves on the sycamore trees in the plaza were starting to turn yellow, and some had already fallen. It was quite a romantic setting! Congratulations, Kristen and Derk!

Recently I was back at the Mountain Winery in the Saratoga hills to photograph this intimate wedding. It was an incredibly warm affair, with some gorgeous artistic touches. There was the beautiful music of Dancing on Strings trio; the spicy, unexpected flower arrangements of Ingela Floral Design; and splash of color that was the wedding canopy. Prior to the ceremony, guests placed roses atop a circle of stones, in the Cria Yoga tradition. The couple then stood in this circle together. It was truly a wonderful day, and I was lucky to have been able to spend it with Jan, Reid, their families and guests.

Until almost the very last minute, bride, groom, guests and even the filmmaker trembled under the threat of rain. And then, suddenly, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky, and the day was perfect. With the sun fully shining down upon this beautiful wedding, Biz and Chris tied the knot at the spectacular deLorimier Winery. The only drawback…is that the name of the place is a bit hard to spell. Enjoy!
