A warm, sunny Saturday afternoon in San Francisco is always a great occasion to venture out to North Beach. The place moves at a different pace from the rest of the city: The frantic foot traffic, bumper-to-bumper autos, strolling tourists, industrious maĆ®tre d’s…all of these things combine to give North Beach a constant sense of motion. Greg, Yelena and I stepped into this amazing, colorful scene well before sunset, and our photo session lasted into the late evening.

Whenever I venture outside of foggy San Francisco, I’m reminded that it’s actually summer elsewhere in the Bay Area. I photographed Sara and Joe’s nuptials in the East Bay, and let me tell you: it was HOT. Really hot. 105 degrees hot. No problem for this couple, though. Sara and Joe stayed cool and beautiful. How cool? So cool that they stopped traffic.

Juliana and her man were in town from Europe for only a few days, and decided to tie the knot here in San Francisco, in beautiful City Hall! It looked like another foggy day in the city…but as they exited the building as a newlywed couple, the sun suddenly peeked out for just a few brief seconds.

I recently ventured out to Noe Valley for a photoshoot with this fearless couple. We made Noe residents do double-takes as we posed shamelessly, harassed local merchants, and even attempted (several times) to stop traffic. Just another day with Sasha Wedding Photography. Thanks guys! Can’t wait to shoot your wedding in October!

My portrait photography was featured in an article about Stevie “Keys” Roseman, a prominent East Bay musician who collaborated with Ross Valory, the bassist for the band Journey. The shoot took place inside Ross Valory’s home!!
